AI and art DO NOT MIX. It is crazy to me how willing & okay people are with using AI to generate art of any kind. I think people today are so obsessed with getting things done as fast as possible and robotically perfect that they have lost sight of the beauty of imperfection that comes from the human touch. It's an "easy way out" for them. But I am going to say it, using AI in this way makes you look cheap, tacky, and lazy. The sound quality, lyricism, and flow of AI music is awful. Recently people like Cameron Dallas have been releasing multiple AI albums in rapid succession and promoting it as if it was their own work! It's hilarious how blatant it is. No human can possibly release that much work in a year.
It is also a slap in the face because he is in a position where he has the time and resources to make actual music yet chooses to use AI instead. Meanwhile smaller artists, like myself and many others, are working multiple jobs while taking the time to make the magic of music. Not only that but we also have to be content creators to promote ourselves, which also has its own AI infestation.
There is warmth, words, beautiful imperfection, and a deep connection that only humans can create. Let's not lose sight of that! Music and art as a whole is so precious to the human experience. we need to protect that.
